  • Multi Profiles in Outlook 2003

Hello All, New to this forum. question I have a Windows 7 Pro with Outlook 2003 with multi Profiles on it. the problem I am having is: you select the profile but it is opening it right away. so you can see all the old email but it is off line until you put in the password. is there a way to stop that? where you have to select the profile and then add password before it opens?

    thanks,
    Lance

You really can't password protect the profile, but maybe it's contents.
      What is the account type?
Are you using Exchange 20xx or POP3/IMAP?

      Shooting in the dark...
If using Exchange, than I think that adding a mailbox without privileges for the currently logged-on user will prompt you for a password and username.
If using POP3/IMAP, you can password protect the PST that stores the incoming emails and don't tell it to remember the account password or the PST password.

Will one of those work for you?
