  • Outlook 2003 crashes on Windows 7

Installed outlook 2003 standard on a Sony Vaio VPC Z126 which came with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit preinstalled. The system has a SSD drive. The problem is that outlook crashes randomly while moving mail from inbox to folders or deleting multiple mail. Have checked PST for corruption, Installed SP3, Deleted and recreated profile and repaired MSoffice. None of these helped. Removed symantec endpoint and installed only Security essential.

Kindly give some suggestions. No add-ins are present in outlook now. POP account is being used

System RAM is 6 GB. Updates have been downloaded. Event Log ID :1000

We are trying to move maybe 5-6 messages by dragging and dropping.

so you're moving it from one PST file to another, basically ?

Are both PST files on a local drive, or is one (or both) on a network drive ?
