  • Outlook Crashing

I have a user running Outlook 2007 talking to Exchange 2007. She is running Window XP Pro SP3. All MS Updates are current.

When she receives an email formatted in Rich Text, which contains any kind of image imbedded into to the body of the email, Outlook crashes and restarts.
If you start Outlook in safe mode, the problem goes away. It only happens with Rich Text emails with images in the body. If you compose in HTML, it works just fine.
    Any ideas?

      Re: Outlook Crashing

      turn on outlook debug mode.

tools > options > other > advanced options > "enable logging (troubleshooting)

it will generate heaps of logs though, so turn it off when you dont need it

see if this helps, or, try the profile thing wired suggests

I turned on the logging feature you suggested, but where do I find the log that is generated?
