  • Not able to download all e-mails

    Hi All,


    We are using a single e-mail on two distinct system with Ms. Outlook 2007 and Outlook Express. Issue is that e-mails are not coming completely on both systems.

    whereas we are using gmail outlook settings.

    smtp address: smtp.gmail.com (465 port)
    pop address : pop.gmail.com (995 port)]


    so, please help me out how can i download email completely on both systems.

    Nothing to do with the coffee lounge so moved to Outlook forum

        Hi biggles,

        Thankx 4 taking interest,

        We are not getting some e-mail on one of the system.

        For instance: if someone is sending 10 emails on that e-mail then sometimes outlook getting all 10 and Ms. outlook 2007 getting 5 out of 10.

          Since it is an external mail service, do you have the (default) setting of "delete stored emails once downloaded" set on either of the machines?

            I have configured delete all email from main server after 10 days but thing is that they are not even deleting from main gmail inbox.

            One more thing is that i have mapped MX record on gmail six month back because at that time our webhosting provider was godaddy.com and we were not able to send email from our emails.
            So, please do needful.

              Is there any pattern to the missing emails -- all on one system or split between both?
              Please post email account setting details (screen shots) for BOTH systems
              Why do you need to get the same emails on 2 machines?
