  • Outlook 2003 problem !

    Hello,
I am running Windows XP professional with SP2 And using Microsoft
Outlook 2003 . And i configured "Gmail" in it.

Problem > When i open e-mails "Offline" , it never shows me HTML
    format.

I cant find any option to change the option to show me HTML
    tags while offline.

Pls tell me how to set that thing.

    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Amey.

Perhaps this is because HTML e-mail is, by nature, an online profile? Can you access a website if you're offline?

Is it so ? I think we can view HTML tags in Outlook's earlier
versions even when working offline ? But Outlook downloads
all e-mails on the hard disk drive ...so it wont be like online
or offline? Outlook is able to save HTML tags also ? Like if i
saved a web page , and open it later on while offline it displays
all advertises , banners which r usually in HTML ?

Thanx for reply waiting to hear from all ,

      Regards,
      Amey.

Wait, you were talking about GMAIL, but from what I now understand is that you're actually talking about POP3 access to GMAIL.

        Is that right?

Well then, when you d/l a mail item it's there until you delete it. No logical explanation why you can't view it when offline, unless it contains linked items from other sites.
