  • timestamp changes when moving a msg

    Dear all,

This is my first post here. I have a weird issue with an Outlook client in my company.

Situation: Outlook 2003 SP3, Windows XP SP3, exchange mailbox 2003 and a PST file for mail archiving

When I move a message from the inbox to a PST, the timestamp of the received column in the view changes to the date/time I moved the msg. It does not retain the received date/time when the msg actual arrived in the mailbox. It is only when I move a msg, do I copy a msg it retains the received date/time. Both views in inbox and in the PST contains the field "received". I discovered when I add the field "sent" that this field shows the date/time when the msg arrived.

This client has also delegated mailbox attached. It happens regardless if I move a msg from the delegated mailbox or from the user mailbox to a PST. I tried to create another PST file even I recreated the Outlook profile, but the issue still persists.

    Any hint is higly appreciated
