    I have a calendar in public folders called say, IT Dept Calendar, and I add it to Favourites. When I open that calendar it reads as IT Dept Calendar in Public Folders.

    Is there a way of removing the "in Public Folders" part of the name?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kenneth.

    Re: Public Folders

    using exchange 2003, outlook 2007:

    I right clicked on "engineering" folder below public folders, and chose add to favourites.
    it then asked me what i wanted to call it.
    so i called it engineering.

    it now appears below my favourites as "engineering"

      Re: Public Folders

      Thanks for replying tehcamel. Yes, I can call it what I like and I will see the folder as I named it under My Favourites. However, I then go to Calendar (in Outlook 2003) and open that calendar and it will have "...in Public Folders" tagged on to the name.
      It becomes a bit of a nuisance when I have a number of calendars open as it becomes difficult to read the name of each calendar.
