  • EMailer client software

Im looking for some software to back up emails and so users can look at emails when ever they need to, as the users are not on exchange and user POP3 accounts.

I have seen dmailer which is brilliant but thought I would see if anyone knows anything else that is free or cheaper.

    Thanks

What email client software are you using?

Why not use multiple PST files?
You could update them regularly and copy to a server as backup (you should only open them from the local machine)

Outlook has the ability to archive emails to a location of your choice. Alternatively you could create a batch job or scheduled task that backups the .pst's (the default location is the windows profile for the user (suggest moving to the root of C:\ to make things easier for yourself) and backing up that directory to a file share/server with NTbackup or a simple Xcopy.

              Posted in the wrong forum.

              Requested it be moved.
