  • Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

We are getting a lot of emails bouncing back with the below message. We have sent out a couple of bulk emails to probably about 7000 registered customers in total recently and I feel that Windows Live may have black listed our domain as quite a few of these were @hotmail or Live addresses. How do we remove us from this blacklist if this is the case?

    Well this:
"Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems."
does imply what you are suggesting, did you visit the suggested site and have a read about their requirements?
    cheers

Yes, I think I may well be but all emails that we have sent out are to subscribed customers.

How you know how we get off this list?

It's pretty clear from the NDR what you should do:

Visit http://postmaster.live.com and read what's there.
