  • Shared Address Book

    Hi All,
Can anyone tell me the best way to create a company shared address book with outlook and exchange 2003. Is it the method of creating it in the public folders, and if so is it possible for it to be available when a user creates a new email and wants to find an address on the normal down lists?

    Thanks
    Mitch

the best way, for my opinion is public folder. you can read about it on
    http://www.slipstick.com/exs/pfshare.htm#addressbook
if you want the users to get addresses from the folder while sending a mail, go to the properties of the folder that you created then go to outlook address book tab and then check the "show this folder as an email address book" check box.
    Good Luck
