  • NTLM authentication

    Hi,

is there any possibility to set up MSO 2007 to use only NTLM authentication.
I'd like to gain this goal using only scripting techniques or command if possible.

    Regards

      Hi,

      thanks for your answer.

What I'd like to achieve is to change this settings on already created user profile, not during initial setup.

      regards

        Re: NTLM authentication

        Tools - E-mail accounts
Select View or change existing e-mail accounts - Next
Select account name - Click on Change.
In the next page Click on the More settings Tab.
In the Microsoft exch server page, click on the Security tab.
On the Logon Network Security: select Password Authentication (NTLM) from the drop-down list.
        Apply

        Hope that helps

For the logon network security option:

Check the registry value 00036601 under key

          HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging
          Subsystem\Profiles\<profile name>\13dbb0c8aa05101a9bb000aa002fc45a.
