  • User sending double e-mail

I have one user that has a peculiar problem. It seems at random, when she sends an e-mail, the recipient will receive it twice. I had her send me about 14 e-mails and only one of them came through double.

We are running Outlook 2003 (with Office SP2 or SP3. SP3 did not get universally deployed) in cached mode on Windows XP SP2 attached to an Exchange 2003 server.

Has anybody seen this before. Google was not offering up much help.

check in message tracking and see if she's sending them.
I've seen something similar where someones client just kept sending the same e-mail over and over again, a new profile fixed it.

I do tend to think 'outside the box' so others may not always share the same views.

MCSA+Messaging, CCENT, ICND2 slowly getting around to.

      just a thought...
what about if she sends them thru OWA? Does she have her Outlook and OWA open at the same time when this happens?
      Regards,
