  • Outlook 2007 Missing security tab.

Im having troubles with a clients vista home premium laptop. Html pictures sent in the body of a senders emails turn up at his side as an attachment instead of graphics in the body of the email.

The first thing I did was create a new outlook profile, which didnt fix it.

After googling for a while , people suggested that the settings in security tab in outlook need to be checked.

I see one (security tab) in my outlook 2003, but I dont see one in outlook 2007. Is it missing by default or I need to do some registry hack to get it back?

Ok, found it. I didnt realise its now called "trust center" in outlook 2007.

I changed automatic download options to just allow all downloads, but the problem still persists.

So the main problem is that html say signatures & graphics etc in the body of an email message show up as attachments in this clients email.

In the end I found AVG was causing the problem. I uninstalled AVG & the messages displayed correctly.
