Using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 in an AD environment users will see in the navigation pane of Outlook that they have, say (12) unread messages indicating that there are 12 new messages but nothing new is in the inbox until you click a different folder (sent items or a user created folder within the inbox for example) then clicking back into the inbox..suddenly the new mail is there. You don't have to do a send/receive or any type of refresh, just simply click out of the inbox then back in and voila, they're there. I've had this problem in the past and just delt with it. Now our CEO is having the problem and that isn't an acceptable solution.
