  • Folder List View (default)?

Does anyone know how to make the folder list view, the default mail view in Outlook 2007?

If you select folder list, you are able to view public folders, but if you navigate to Calendar, Contacts or Tasks, and then go back to your mail, the folder list reverts back to normal, not viewing the public folders.

    Let me know, thanks.

The folder list view is NOT the same as the mail view
Think of the folders option as being another button, like mail, calendar etc., but smaller

So train users to click on the folder button, not the mail button

I know it's not the same...but is there a way to make it stay there by default when you are in mail??

        Sigh...
        Let me try again.

MAIL view (button) shows only MAIL folders (and not public folders)
CALENDAR view shows only CALENDAR folders
CONTACTS view shows only CONTACTS folders
FOLDERS view shows ALL folders (including public folders)
