  • Deleting Folder and Messagens in Outlook 2000 SP3

    Hello there!

I am facing a problem with Outlook 2000 SP3. The enviroment runs under Exchange 2003 Servers and Outlook 2000 SP3 clients.

One of my users keep receiving the message:

"Unable to delete this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. This information has been marked as private by its author and cannot be copied."

When trying to copy or delete a folder, message.

Does any one have aver faced it as well? Found an answer?

I have changed the permisions of the folder to add the user as the proprietery but the user still canīt delete or move the folders/files!

Also checked NTFS permissions and everything seems to be fine.

    Any help is welcome!

    Best,
    Bruno

Is the folder a folder in a mailbox or a public folder? If it is a mailbox folder, is it the user's own mailbox or a shared mailbox? I suspect the folder is corrupt - try deleting it from OWA.

    Simon.
