    Re: Stop Synchronizing public folders

Can you explain more about what you mean?
Exchange syncs public folders assuming you asked it to. Outlook only shows public folders when you are connected and doesn't keep an offline copy in sync.
What are you trying to achieve and what are you seeing.

      Re: Stop Synchronizing public folders

see the highlighted portion in attachment, where outlook client is trying to connect to public folders, which usually takes more time than mail which causes outlook response very slow.

I am trying to find option where i can disable this

        Re: Stop Synchronizing public folders

Outlook 2003 and lower require public folders to work so stopping connection to them would break it.
Can you let us know how your network is setup? Sites/Exchange locations/User locations etc? Do you have PF replicas anywhere for example?
        What versions of Exchange/Outlook too

          Re: Stop Synchronizing public folders

In Cached Mode exchange settings there is an option to download public folder favourties.

Un-check this if it is checked.
