  • On fast networks connect using http first...

Unfortunately, all our computers have this box checked, thus they connect via http. I'd like to change this so they connect via tcp/ip on our lan. I've searched the registry and GPO but I dont see this option anywhere. Is there a reg key or a way to deploy this change? I just need to uncheck this single box.

If not, Im open to disabling httpoverrpc altogether for at least our desktops. I cant seem to find that anywhere either. Thanks!

Yep, it doesnt seem to be an option via group policy.

I *think* its somewhere in here:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\{Outlook Profile Name}\

but I dont know what most of those values mean.

Are you using Outlook 2003? If so, there is an option on the ADM Template under Tools|e-mail accounts.
Enable exchange over Internet UI, you can have a look at the options there.
