  • Error (0x80040119) when using outlook via Terminal Services

    One of our users is receiving following error when she accesses her Outlook
    through Terminal Services:

    When she clicks send and receive she gets:
    Task 'Jane Doe - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x80040119) :
    'Unknown Error 0x80040119'

    Environment:
    Exchange Server 2003
    Terminal Services 2003
    User DOES NOT USE Cached Exchange Mode
    User DOES NOT HAVE pst files
    When she logs on AD locally she does not receive this error. (ie. when she
    is in the office)

    KB814441 does not apply this case

    Thanks.

    NOTE: Once again user does not have OST file or PST file(s). This error
    occurs when she access her outlook through Terminal Services.

    Was Outlook installed AFTER terminal services was installed? Was Terminal Server put into Application Install Mode before installing Outlook? Was it taken out of AIM after Outlook was installed?

      Was Outlook installed AFTER terminal services was installed? - Yes
      Was Terminal Server put into Application Install Mode before installing Outlook? -Yes
      Was it taken out of AIM after Outlook was installed? - Yes

      There are 20+ users accessing Outlook using Terminal Services. Only one user has this problem.
