  • Mailing Label Creation in Outlook_Word

    I have Outlook and Word 2000 .

I only use the "Mail Merge" function once each year when I address Christmas Cards so , consequently , I'm not very "hands-on" in the use of this facility.

I use Avery Standard A4 Mailing Label Sheets and manage to get these to print mostly OK but , occasionally, some of the first line of the printed label is slightly cut-off at the top on some sheets.

This is probably due to the sheet not being inserted accurately enough into the printer but , to avoid such annoyances in future , I would like the first line of these label Addresses to be placed slightly down from the top edge of each of these labels but do not know how to arrange this.

These labels , although presented for printing on Word , are generated in Outlook.

Is it in Outlook that I should attempt to change this?

Select all your cells (before merge) right click, find cell alignment, and pick the alignment you would like. See attached below.
I am using Word 2003 but IIRC it was the same in 2000

    No. In word.
