  • Outlook 2000 annoyance

Hello there, I'm having a problem of unwanted automatic entry of my name when I reply or forward some of my emails as I enter text in the body of the message.
    I'm using XP pro.
It does not happen all the time and actually sometimes I can't or have much difficulty to replicate the problem, other time I can't get out of it.
What it specifically does is to enter my name in between bracket as soon as I hit a key.
As I say sometimes I can't get away from it. I have tried to delete reinter text, cut and paste and all kind of things but it comes back with my name in between brackets then allows me to continue.
I'll sure appreciate if someone has an answer on how to stop this non-sense

I don't have Outlook 2000 in front of me but make sure that Mark my comments with: is unchecked.

On 2002 it's Tools -> Options -> Email Options... it may be the same for 2000.

To elaborate on the problem, it occurs when you edit the text that is included when you forward or reply to a message.
