  • Outlook 2003 Hebrew folder names

    Hi,

When I'm trying to create a new mail folder in Outlook with Hebrew name, I get ??? instead of the Hebrew characters.
When I download existing email messages via POP with Hebrew title and contents, I get again ??? or Jibrish.

    How can that be fixed?

    Thanks,
    Yehezkel.

Check the Hebrew Language fonts are installed

I presume the rest of Windows is OK in Hebrew? so it is just an Office / Outlook Problem.

What about Word / Excel -- are they OK?

Re: Outlook 2003 Hebrew folder names

      Hi,

It's Windows XP Pro 2002 SP2, can be set to Hebrew or English user interface.
      I set it to English.
Office application can also be set to either Hebrew or English by the MUI pack.
I set them also to English.
However, the phenomena I have happens also when Outlook is set to Hebrew.
All menus switch to Hebrew but Hebrew folder names stay '???'.

      Thanks,
      Yehezkel.
