  • Exchange 2016 CU for First Installation

Can I use an Exchange 2016 CU for the first installation of Exchange 2016
    (e.g. CU 9 or 10)
or do I need to install from the original installation files first and then run a CU update?

    Thanks

AFAIK (will try to check) you can install at a particular CU level

    Yup: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ge-server-2016
MS say you can do a fresh install with the CU

      Thank you
Having so much trouble with Exchange 2016 using cu 10 on a Windows 2016 server (vm). Finally got the installation successful but then could not access the EAC\ECP to configure anything (certificate issue). Could not access the Exchange PowerShell as well. (I see from other admins the same issues.)
