  • Exchange 2013 mail flow issue

Have an existing 2010 exchange server we are migrating from, have 2 exchange 2013 servers in a Dag, the send connector on the 2013 server is set to use MX..however when analyzing header going out, it appears its going to the 1st 2013, then 2nd, then the 2010 then out, i'm not sure why it wouldn't just send out from the 2013. attached is the analysis.. am I missing a setting? I noticed all 3 server share the same connector, so I assume the connector is the 2010 one from the migration, should i just create a new connector for 2013 with just the 2 2013 servers?

I would usually create a new Send Connector for Exchange 2013.
Exchange will load balance the send connector use if you have all servers on the same connector or multiple connectors with the same cost, so email going out via other servers is not unusual. Remember a send connector does not belong to a specific server, it is an org setting and can be used by any hub transport server.
