  • Email address policy - Recipient Filter on Domain

I have a multi domain forest containing Exchange 2003 and 2010.

I would like to create 2 email address policies that filter the recipients based on their domain (one for each domain). In a pure Exchange 2010 environment, I know I can use the "recipient container" parameter, however this isn't available when legacy servers (exchange 2003) are in the environment.

I looked at this M$ article on filterable properties but nothing really stood out.

    Ideas?

I have (in the past) set another AD property (e.g. Company or Department) and created the address policy based on that, with the container set to the forest

Unfortunately that is not an option at this time. I still haven't been able to quite figure it out nor have my crafted google searches found anything just yet....

I haven't tried it but is using the UPN an option?

That should segregate them into the domain.
