  • Exchange 2010 services will not start - HELP

To whoever can help, I have an existing Exchange domain server and I had a PDC both running Windows Server 2008 R2, our PDC completely crashed and I had to transfer all FSMO roles to the Exchange server as well as DNS. Now Exchange services will not start, Services not starting are:

    Microsoft Exchange Address Book

    Microsoft Exchange EdgeSync

    Microsoft Exchange File Distribution

    Microsoft Exchange Information Store

    Microsoft Exchange Protected Service Host

    Microsoft Exchange RPC Client Access

    Microsoft Exchange Service Host

    Microsoft Exchange Throttling

    Microsoft Exchange Transport

What can I do to get this running again? Please HELP! All your help is greatly appreciated.

    restart AD Topology service.
Then look at your event logs and see what you can see
Please do show your appreciation to those who assist you by leaving Rep Point https://www.petri.com/forums/core/im.../icon_beer.gif

I presume your exchange server is on a DC??

Do as tehcamel suggested or reboot the DC
