  • Outlook Anywhere testconnectivity error

    Hi guys, a little stumped by this one.

    Background:
    Site was running an SBS2008 with Ex2007 and I have been performing an upgrade/migration to a 2012 R2 Hyper-V domain with Ex2013. Ex2007 is now installed from the SBS box, although this is currently still a DC.

    So far so good, with a few usual SBS issues but generally ok. However, I have hit a wall with Outlook anywhere. Internally everything works fine, on mobile devices all seems fine, OWA fine, but Outlook anywhere does not externally. I run the testexchange connectivity website and get the following error;
    Code:
    Attempting to log on to the Exchange Information Store.
     	An error occurred while logging on to the Information Store.

    	Additional Details

    The Store logon failed with unknown error 1003.
    Elapsed Time: 334 ms.
    I have tried Google but cant seem to find anything similar. Any Thoughts, as I am stumped?

    Re: Outlook Anywhere testconnectivity error

    I approached this from a different angle and after finding various things in the event log, found this:

    Essentially that pointed me in the general direction in ADSIedit and it now works! SO thats cool. Now I can move onto my final issue in the migration - unable to uninstall ADCS from the old SBS box so cant demote it... but thats for another topic...
