  • Remount Exchange 2007 Database

    Ehlo World,

    I have a little issue with an exchange (2007) mailbox db :
    To "defrag" my database I just create a new one and move there the relevant mailboxes, it works fine. Afterwards I just unmount the old database and remove it from the database list in Exchange management console (I don't delete the database file, just in case). This time, a worker came back to our company and guess what, his mailbox is in the old database. So the question is How can I remount my old database ?

    You need to create a recovery storage group and then a recovery database:
