You can set up a transport rule to add a disclaimer:
    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ex...B%3AIE-Address

However third party software (PolicyPatrol, GFI Exclaimer, others) may be easier to use/manage

If you want individualized email sigs (like name and contact info) added automatically then you'll need to go with a 3rd party.

I've used Exclaimer a good bit like it well enough.

The problem with not adding it at the email client is that the software may have a hard time knowing where to put the signature. Often you'll see the signature placed at the very bottom of an email chain instead of just before the previous message in the email body.

Actually you can use variables in transport rules to read user info from AD, also you can use HTML, so definitely a "poor man's" signature option. However 3rd party software is a heck of a lot more flexible and managable

Actually, you can't pull info from AD into the disclaimer text in Exchange 2007. If you wanted you could setup a transport rule for each user and provide a signature that way but that's an admin nightmare.

They added support for variables and HTML in Exchange 2010.

You are correct - you can in 2010 and I didn't check closely enough for 2007
So 3rd party is the only way to go
