  • How to Enable a Script on EXchange 2010

    Hi,

We have exchange 2010, with 2k8R2 domain controllers.

I have a script for users to receive the emails before their password get expired so they can change the password.

Problem is I donwloaded the script, edit and save .ps1. Not sure what to do from here:

    This is the script: http://community.spiceworks.com/scri...rd-is-expiring

Can some one please advise how to enable it as I am not a proper exchange person.

    many thanks
    S

This is more of a scripting question than an Exchange question. Looks like that script requires Powershell 3.0 so make sure that's installed on your Win 2008 R2 (comes with 2.0)

You can run the script by opening powershell and then type in the path to the script and add any parameters.

You'll also need to change the execution policy if you haven't already.

If you want to run the script in a scheduled task then you'll need something like this:

    Code:
<path to powershell.exe> -executionpolicy bypass -file <path to script> [args]
