    Hello to experts

    i know this issue is old , but iam facing now if anyone advise me on this , this is 3 weeks that we can't receive emails from outside domain , but we can send emails outside on exchange 2010 , we can telnet from outside as well it returns the result but the issue we are facing is 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first.

    when we are sending email from yahoo it bounce back

    ---- Forwarded Message -----

    This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

    Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, because the message was forwarded more than the maximum allowed times. This could indicate a mail loop.

    i have checked in exchange server everything is fine , port 25 , 110 we can telnet also we have a PTR added to our MX. it''s pointing as well any help appreciated.

    Re: Receiving external emails

    The problem doesn't appear to be a connectivity problem, it appears that you have a mail loop somewhere. Is the email address that you're sending to configured to forward email to the originating email address?

    [email protected]-->
    [email protected]-->
    [email protected]-->
    [email protected]-->

    Etc., etc.

        Re: Receiving external emails

        If you are getting this message: "Must issue a STARTTLS command first" then you have probably changed the settings on the Receive Connector. Delete the Default Receive Connector, recreate it. Don't change anything from the default other than enabling Anonymous authentication. Then restart the Transport service.
