  • Mailbox Fulll - no NDR

Trying to find where I amend Exchange 2007 to give an NDR when mail received to a mailbox that is full. Currently no NDR is sent out.

Exchange logs show message received and then
    550 5.2.2 STOREDRV.Deliver: mailbox full etc.

As sender gets no bounceback and mail doesn't hit the mailbox the user knows nothing about the emails that failed. Am I able to retrieve the email from some form of "failed" location?

    Any info greatly received.

The NDR should be sent. Does your server send other NDRs correctly?
As for getting the messages back, not possible. They are gone, as they should have been NDR'd.
