  • Restore edb

    Hello,

I'm trying to restore an EDB with Symantec Backup Exec on Exchange 2007, but the restore fails.

Final error: 0xe000352 - The specified volume does not exist. Recreate the volume, and then try the job again.

I was able to restore the EDB to a external drive, but it won't mount the edb.

Can I see restore individual inboxes to the original location or can I restore inboxes to another mounted (working) EDB??

    Re: Restore edb

Have you used the Exchange Agent while backing the Exchange data. If yes, then you could redirect the mailbox database (for which the .edb file is required) and get that.

Are you attempting to restore the .edb file which was backed up while backing up the drives on the Exchange Server?

Why not share the results/resolution so that others can benefit?

        Thanks
