DNSStuff Error

  • DNSStuff Error

    I tried to test my exchange 2010 settings on DNSStuff and it gave me these errors
    I have to test because im getting an error (spam like stuff) if i send emails to gmail

    DNS - Mismatch
    SPF none

    here are my settings.
    dsl -> router ->switch ->servers
    in a domain, internal mails are fine...

    exchange has anti-spam enabled
    please help

    The external tests will fail even when Exchange is configured correctly. That is because the FQDN Exchange shows for incoming email is different than for outbound.

    As long as you have a matching PTR, host name and FQDN on the Send Connector you should be fine.

    SPF records are a DNS entry, and you can find the format for it by simply searching for SPF records. A number of sites have wizards to build the DNS entry for you to paste in to your DNS provider.
