  • Exchange 2010 Outlook Anywhere Setup Issue

    Hi,

Am trying to setup Exchange 2010 Outlook Anywhere and think I am most of the way there but have now got a bit stuck. When I open up Outlook I get the following error:

'There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate.
The security certificate is not from a trusted certifying authority.
Outlook is unable to connect to the proxy server mail.domain.co.uk (error code 1.'

My SAN certificate is from GeoTrust and covers the following:
    mail.domain.co.uk
    owa.domain.co.uk
    oma.domain.co.uk
    mail.domain.co.uk

I am assuming that GeoTrust is a trusted certifying authority so is it something with the Subject Alternative Names that is the problem? Or is it something else?

    Many thanks,

    D

If you browse to the URL that you have entered in to the Outlook Anywhere configuration, do you get an SSL prompt?

    Simon.

      Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I actually sorted this problem late yesterday and was going to close the thread this morning. Turns out it was just an error on my part with how I had the DNS/NAT configured. Is all working now.

Actually, how do you close a thread?

      Thanks,

      D
