  • Export mail from one mail server to another mail server

    Hello friends.

I have a user that had a mailbox on mail1.exchange.local([email protected])

She moved to another company and with that got a new mailaccount on a new mailserver.

She now wants all the folders and mails she had on mail1.exchange.local([email protected]) to the new mail2.exchange.local([email protected])

It is exchange 2010 on both servers.
The servers are not linked in anyway. So I guess I havet o extract it in someway, store it and then import it on the new mailserver?

But how do I extract it from mailbox 1 and then import it on mailbox2?

    Regards
    G

Re: Export mail from one mail server to another mail server

tbh your easiest way for one user is to set up Outlook to connect to the mailbox and export the contents to a PST file, then attach the PST to Outlook on the other server

For multiple mailboxes this can be automated, but for one or two the manual method is the quickest...
