  • ESMTP #554 Transaction Failed Spam Message not queued

    Hello,

    The environment: SBS 2011 with exchange 2010

    While trying to send emails to specific customers there is an error message returned:

    "ESMTP #554 Transaction Failed Spam Message not queued"

    I checked and our IP is not in RBL lists.
    PTR record has been configured and published in the world.

    What can cause this?
    Need an urgent answer..

    The message means what it says - the remote side is rejecting your email. You need to ask the remote side what they are doing that is causing the rejection. It may not be public blacklists, they could be running private blacklists.

    Does the FQDN on the SEND Connector match your PTR?
