  • Exchange 2010 spam block list providers!!

    Hi

Does anyone have reasons to use or not use UCEPROTECT as spam BL provider?

    Regards

Re: Exchnage 2010 spam block list provders!!

No problem at all, if you don't mind an unaccountable third party deciding what email you can and cannot receive.

Their delisting policy is dubious and you will find most administrators don't like that particular list.

Personally I am not a fan of any of the blacklists as they are all unaccountable.

      Cheers for replying,

What method of spam blocking/protection do you use.... if not using blocklist?

        No single answer to that.
On some sites the built in antispam solution works well. Others I use Vamsoft ORF. A few more GFI Mail Essentials, and a few clients are using various hosted services.

I have had good results with Messagelabs (now part of Symantec) but their services have a definite cost attached
