  • Subaddressing/Tagging of mail address

    Hi,
In a system I'm currently building, the users should send mails to some known mailbox but they should classify the mails and tell to which matter it belongs.
For example, if the mailbox address is [email protected], then each supporter who sends mail to this address must specify to which customer/case this email belongs. For example, one might send email to [email protected] and the second might send to [email protected]. Both mails will arrive to the mailbox [email protected].

Gmail support this via a feature called address tagging, I wonder how can I achieve similar functionality with Exchange server? Where in the address phrase can I add some tag or any identifier?
Any creative idea will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

That feature doesn't exist in Exchange.

    End of story.

You will have to use something else, subject line for example.

    Simon.
