  • Out of office reply to internet/external - exchange 2010

    Hi,

In our organization we are using exchange 2010 and blocked auto-reply and out-of-office to internet/external and it's working fine.
What our management wants to allow group of people to be able to send out-of-office message. I will appreciate if someone let me know if this can be acheived and how.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks

I thought it was a global thing.

This seems to point to that.

    I could however be wrong.

You might be able to do it with a HT rule -- you would have to allow OOF messages and then create an HT rule to silently drop them for everyone except your selected few.

Or tell MGMT it is a global setting -- why don't they want most people to send them?

Thanks everyone, I got it working after we allowed out-of-office to external and created HT rule to block auto-reply from all users except for group of people allowed.
