  • Exchange 2010 Incoming Mail

I cannot seem to get email from my yahoo account unless it is a reply message? Does this make any sense?

If I send an email to my exchange account from yahoo in order to test the incoming mail. I never get the email, and no NDR message in the yahoo account.

If I send an email from exchange to yahoo, not only does the yahoo account get the mail, but can reply to it. Which will be delivered in exchange.

Something wrong with my receive connector perhaps? allow anyonomous is checked.

Or could this be a Spamhaus issue? Im confused.

Does message tracking show anything -- i.e. does it ever get near your Exchange server?

Well I cant get the web interface working for message tracking ...just gives me a page not found error. But when I use the Exch Troubleshooter Tool I get "no results"

I put my internal email as the recipient
My external email as the sender (cant resolve)
No Server name' Subject = test11

Which is to say that no other fields were filled in. Not sure if this was coorect or not.

Lets do a Inbound SMTP test here: https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

        Please post the results.

Secondly can you please confirm if you are using any 3rd party SaaS email filtering products like Messagelabs etc which is doing email virus/spam scanning for your exchange server, if yes then please check the logs on their portal see if your yahoo mail is getting blocked by any chance?
