  • calendar visibility to external users

I have an exchange 2007 environment. Within this environment are several meeting rooms. These rooms are located within a shared tenancy building.

Our client wants the other tenants in the building to be able to see, at the very least, availability, on these meeting rooms.
Then book them as normal, with little to no involvement from the owners of the exchange environment.

Is there a way to publish meeting room availability to people outside a domain environment ?

How about an Exchange account with no permission to send, but permission to view calendars -- tenants can use OWA to view them, but will not be able to do anything else

yes... i've considered that option too.

I've already established I probably can't do AvailabilityService because SBS can't do federated trusts..

        Nothing native on Exchange 2007.
        2010 can publish information.

On 2007 you are probably looking at third party tool. Lots of those around as they are often used for meeting room display systems.
