  • Having issue with shared mailbox

Our department uses the shared mailbox for customer requests. Any one of our team members claims a request by dragging the appropriate e-mail out of the shared mailbox to their Inbox. This removes the e-mail from the shared mailbox so that nobody else tries to work on the request.

However, ever since the upgrade to Exchange 2010 and Office 2010, whenever we drag an item out of this shared mailbox, the item stays visible in the mailbox for every other person (except the person who drug the item). This is a problem because we only want one person working on a request so that we don't unnecessarily duplicate our work.

Is this something that can be addressed?

      Guys, we missed another response.

Read the forum rules. Thread bumping is not allowed, if someone can help they will. If you can't wait an hour and a half, call Microsoft and they'll be happy to take your money.

Has Outlook been reconfigured? As in, it was set to cache at one time and now doesn't and vice versa?
