  • how to create rDNS(ptr) on godaddy

    Dear All,

    i hosted my domain on go-daddy and create all DNS record include ptr but the ptr not work

    so how can i cofigure it:
    i already created as below:


    A (Host)
    Host Points to
    Ex(Server) IP address

    TXT (Text)
    Host TXT Value
    @ v=spf1 mx ptr ptr:92.253.101.165 include:secureserver.net ~all
    @ v=spf1 a mx ptr ~all



    Please advice

    You don't create the PTR at your domain registrar. The PTR belongs to the IP address and has to be set by your ISP. Sometimes they have an interface to do this, other times they ask you to email or call them with details.
