  • Exchange Server Full backup doesn't truncate the log size after migrating to new drv

    Hi People,

I've migrated my Exchange Server 2007 SP1 - CCR one of the mailbox DB transaction log into separate new drive but somehow after the full backup it is not truncating the log file ?

the size is still big ~ 30 GB in size, therefore I cannot move back the transaction log from the new temp drive into the old proper drive ?

Can anyone assist me here please ?

    Thanks.

Because at the moment the database is mounted successfully but the CR replication status / storage group copy shown as FAILED in the Exchange Management Console.

Do I need to create another / similar drive letter / name in the DR node to make sure the CCR replication is healthy again for the backup to truncate the log file size successfully ?
