  • Different Display Name to Outside Domain

    Hello all...

I'm trying to make a different display name to each email user in my organization. Since we have a lot of employee which is separated in many location, my boss wanted to put location and job title in brackets e.g. John Smith (LON-Finance Manager), but he doesn't want that location and job title to be displayed for gmail (other organization) recipient.

If emails are flowing in the same organization, the recipient will see the sender from "John Smith (LON-Finance Manager)",
if John Smith send to my gmail, I will see just from "John Smith".

How can I do this..? I'm new in Exchange 2010 and Windows Server 2008.

DisplayName will be the DisplayName, the only option I can think of is to deactivate the option "Display sender's name on messages" in Remote Domain options.

Not exactly what you want, since recipients will see the email address only but the closest I can think of right now.
