  • Installation Problem

    Hi ,

    I am using Windows Server 2008 , Service pack2 64bit edition and trying to install Exchange 2010 SP1 on this .Now while trying to install i am getting message as per the


    Error:

    This computer requires the update described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 977624 ( http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=977624).Without this update , the RMS features may stop working.

    click here to help.

    After click on help screen

    but here no information is available to download the hotfix download.

    I download the hotfix as described here

    and install it and rety it but getting the same message.

    I install KB979744 , KB973136 , Filterpack64bit but getting the same message..

    Please help...

      I have gone through the details , even install all prerequisites also . Still getting the same message.

        Strange -- I had an install recently where I followed the Technet links and all worked fine:
        http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb691354.aspx

        Note you should really be using Exchange 2010 SP2 so may be worth downloading that and try again.

          Have you tried with another logon account or deleting your lcoal profile and attempting the install again?
