  • User managed distro groups

We are having an issue with users being able to manage their own groups via the Outlook client(recently migrated from 2003 to 2010). I am able to do this (non admin account). but many others cannot even though they are the owners of these groups. I have enabled "MyDistributionGroups" in the default role assignment policy. I have read through many forums and not found a solid answer. I have even tried making one of these groups a "Universal" group to no effect. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Which Exchange version? (You need 2010)
If they have that, they can use the ECP to manage group membership

Thanks for the response but i think we may have it hammered out now. Apparently the groups HAVE too be Universal.
The user policy on Exchange has to have "MyDistributionGroups" checked.
And of course the user has to be the owner of the group which is configured in RBAC.
