  • Exchange 2007 Smtp Error

    Hi, I have a problem with exchange 2007 smtp. This night server was automatically restart after a Microsoft upgrade. Upgrade was about windows 2003 fix. Now exchange client can send mail without problem. Pop3 and smtp client doesn' works correctly. they can receive mail but when they try to send something receive an error message on outlook client:
    Sending' reported error (0x800CCC60) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: blank

    Cna you help me?

    What server OS are you using?
    How are the outlook clients connecting to Exchange?

      Windows Server 2003 64 bit exchange 2007

      Client: windows XP or windows 7 with outlook2007

        Clients configured with Exchange Serve works correctly
        Client configured with pop3 and smtp can receive mail but they can't send anything

          I found the following error in the event viewer application:
          "Error in reading console screen buffer output or its information. System error: The parameter is incorrect." code 4029 Source tlnsrv. I executed tlntadmn command and this is the result:

          Max connections : 2
          Telnet port : 25
          Max failed login attempts : 3
          End tasks on disconnect : YES
          Mode of Operation : Console

          State : Running

          Client which use smtp can nnot send the mail

            Whuch event viewer is this on -- a client or the server?
            Why are clients sending using SMTP if you have Outlook?
