(added som spaces since im not allowed to post url's yet
I have testet our DNS settings with MXtoolbox.com
I have testet our Sender ID and SPF files.
I can connect to all the gmail mx servers with telnet.

    I have restarted the server.

Have you gone to the link and followed their instructions?
(I tried rebuilding it from above but is not found -- are the ## part of it?)

What were the results of your MX toolbox tests?
Is there a smarthost you can use for deliveries?

Re: Can't send mail to gmail accounts from our domain

I doubt if the service pack (Office, Exchange?) would have caused this. Google is rejecting your email because you are trying to use a server that requires authentication. Primary reason for that is a smart host has been configured to send email to their servers and the wrong servers are being used.

Have you raised it with Messagelabs, since you appear to be using them as a smarthost?

Re: Can't send mail to gmail accounts from our domain

Issue may be a mismatch between MX records and your sending IP -- this is a common spam check and may be resolved through SPF records on your public DNS server

                I have checked that.
MX records transelate to the correct IP address.
I have testet the sender ID settings and thy are correct

Re: Can't send mail to gmail accounts from our domain

As mentioned, check to see if an SPF record also exists. mxtoolbox will allow that review. If not, use openspf.org to create one and get your external DNS provider to add it.

MX records resolve to messagelabs (otherwise no filtering will take place), so a different IP to the one you are sending FROM.

If you do a reverse dns is resolves to pat.prediktor.no it is also in the spf file and is on the mx dns settings.

Re: Can't send mail to gmail accounts from our domain

Go to www.mxtoolbox.com and run the tests on your network.

I can not find any open ports on your target machine (Check that unless you have some funky networking going on).

I am also unable to parse your domain, so I believe there might be something wrong with your DNS entries as well.

Also, Th1k3r, I can not even find an MX record for your server. I can look up its host files, but I can not find a MX record for it. Without the MX record, your Mail Exchange will never work, so that is the first and formost thing that you need to resolve.

Go to www.MXtoolbox.com and Select the MXlookup, type your domain name in there (pat.prediktor.no) and you will not get a result.
                        Or click here : http://www.mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.a...t.prediktor.no

Also, with the return questions you are asking us, I would high recommend paying for someone to come out, as this sounds like it is alittle above your skill level. Call a consultant and see if he is will to run though it with you, but I recommend having someone to come help, otherwise you will constantly be batlling to keep your domain off blacklists.
